This Monday evening 22 February at 6.30pm you can meet the guys behind the mobile filming app Filmic Pro which has become an industry standard.

As mobile phones are used more and more in everyday journalism, they are also being used to replace expensive camera kit across the film industry.

The app has been used to make the award-winning film Tangerine among many others.

The evening organised by MoJo London will consist of a Q & A with Kevin Buonagurio, COO at Filmic Pro, which will start at 7:00pm sharp.

(He is being beamed by magic from the US!)

Following the transatlantic session there will be practical sessions teaching participants how to use Filmic Pro along with some other apps. Mojo Makers will be encouraged to share ideas with each other and then the meet up will continue in a nearby hostelry from around 8.30pm.

Meet at the Lecture Hall on the 21st floor of the Trinity Mirror building at 1 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5AP. It is essential that you RSVP so that you can get a visitor pass for the evening.

If you can’t make it on Monday then there will be future meet-ups and organiser Corinne Podger will be Periscoping it with the hashtag ‪#‎londonmojo‬. All details of other events here.
